Talega is a large master planned community in San Clemente, California, that offers a variety of neighborhoods such as condo complexes, townhomes, single family residences, and 55 plus. Residents enjoy a myriad of amenities and spectacular views.
Talega is located just a couple miles from the beach, and is known for its 18-hole golf course. This community was built in 2000, and reflects the Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean style of architecture that this city is famous for. There are several highly ranked schools that serve this area, such as Vista Del Mar Elementary School and Vista Del Mar Middle School. San Clemente High School offers award winning programs and advanced placement classes. And there are private facilities available like Talega KinderCare, Our Savior’s Lutheran School, St. Michael’s Christian Academy, and Talega Preparatory Academy.
The Talega Golf Club was established in 2001, and offers an 18-hole, par 72 championship course that was designed by Fred Couples. It was ranked as America’s Top Golf Course by Golf Digest. The club also has a driving range, clubhouse with bell tower, and facilities for special events. There are also many parks and trails throughout this city, as well as shopping centers. The Outlets at San Clemente features 70 stores and restaurants like Starbucks, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, The PUMA Outlet Store, and Under Armour.
